Custom Rubber Compounding

Built to Your Spec

There’s no such thing as one-size-fits-all rubber. Every batch is produced to your exact requirements—no more, no less.

When your product faces heat, abrasion, chemicals, flex—or all of it at once—“close enough” isn’t acceptable. We help develop or refine the compound, then run it with the controls and documentation needed to deliver the same performance in production as in development.

What We Do

Compounding is the full story: designing the formula for your application, selecting materials, defining the procedure, and testing until it performs the way it should.

If you already own a formula, we can run it under controlled conditions, document the results, and help you move toward a production-ready program.

Our Compounding Toolbox

Strength, flexibility, heat, chemicals, abrasion—we tune the compound to the job. That means balancing performance targets with consistency and cost, without guessing.

From First Trial to Full Production

A good compound is a repeatable process. We build procedures that hold steady from early trials through production runs.

How a Compounding Program Runs Here

A simple, proven flow—enough detail to understand how we work, without getting lost in the weeds.

  1. Targets + application review
You share end-use conditions, performance goals, constraints, and timeline.
  2. Formula strategy
Build from scratch or refine an existing recipe using practical material choices.
  3. Trial batches + procedure definition
We set the procedure and run early batches to validate direction.
  4. Testing + refinement
We test what matters for that compound or application.
  5. Production-ready validation
Once it’s right, we lock in repeatability and documentation so production stays consistent.

Quality You Can Verify

We test, track, and document what matters—so your team isn’t dealing with surprises downstream.

What this protects: uptime, scrap rates, and product consistency—especially when you’re running tight tolerances.

Our Setup

Mixing isn’t “toss it in and hope.” It’s controlled work—timing, temperature, sequence, and consistency. We’ve got the people and the equipment to run clean, repeatable batches.

Compounding vs. Mixing

Compounding is the design work—formula strategy, procedure definition, testing, and refinement until the compound performs the way it should.

Mixing is the controlled step of combining ingredients into a uniform batch—done consistently so the compound runs the same every time.

Already have a formula? We can qualify it for production.

If you own your formula, we can run it in our facility, document results, and support your path toward approved supplier status. You keep control of your recipe—and gain a reliable mixing partner.

What we can do:

Built for Demanding Applications

From abrasion-heavy environments to heat and chemical exposure, we engineer batches to match the real conditions your product lives in.

Hose

Hose

Compounds built to stay flexible, seal tight, and hold up to pressure, heat, and real-world wear.

Tires

Tires

Consistent compounds that balance grip, durability, and repeatable performance run after run.

Belts

Belts

Tough, abrasion-ready compounds designed for long service life in demanding environments.

Oil & Gas

Oil & Gas

Rubber that holds its shape and performance where heat, chemicals, and pressure are part of the job.

Industrial Products

Industrial Products

Reliable compounds tailored to your specs—so your parts run consistently in production and in the field.

Specialty Rubber

When the job has unique requirements, we build a compound to match it and document it for repeatability.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can you build a compound from scratch?

Yes. If you can tell us what the product is up against (heat, abrasion, chemicals, flex, duty cycle) and what success looks like, we can develop a compound and refine it through testing until it meets the target.

Yes. We can run customer-owned formulas under controlled conditions, document results, and provide the testing package needed for many supplier qualification processes.

Common testing includes Mooney viscosity, rheometer/cure analysis, tensile and hardness, and abrasion/chemical resistance tests when required by the application.

We support compounding programs with Banbury mixing, two-roll mills, and extrusion capability—matched to the job requirements.

Lead time depends on whether you’re in development or production, material readiness, and current scheduling. Send your targets and timeline—we’ll give you a straight answer.

Let’s talk about what you’re building.

Send us your performance targets, your timeline, and what you’re up against. We’ll give you a straight answer on the best path—custom compound, formula qualification, or production mixing.
